Brahmaleen of Pujya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Asanganand Saraswatiji Maharaj, Parmarth Niketan

The supremely learned, utterly detached, highly revered, and ever-remembered Pujya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Asanganand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, today, on the sacred occasion of Gita Jayanti and Mokshada Ekadashi, at 1 PM in Haridwar, relinquished his physical body and attained Brahmaleen in the divine lotus feet of the Supreme Lord.

Pujya Swami Ji Maharaj had been suffering from age-related ailments and physical frailty for several months. Treatment was being carried out continuously in Delhi and other major hospitals; yet the final decision always rests with the Divine—and today he departed for the realm of Brahman.

On 15th October, the entire Parmarth family had joyously celebrated his 90th birthday with great devotion and enthusiasm. His departure is an irreparable loss for the Daivi Sampad Mandal family.

Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj said that Swami Asanganand Saraswati Ji Maharaj dedicated his life at the tender age of nine at the holy feet of Pujya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shukdevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj. He first came to Shahjahanpur for his studies, and later arrived at Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, where he taught, practiced deep sadhana, and throughout his life guided devotees from all corners of the world.

His simple, gentle, compassionate nature—his sadhana, discipline, satsang, teachings, and unshakeable dedication to Sanatan Dharma—will forever remain alive in our hearts. Through the Daivi Sampad Mandal, his legacy of service, austerity, knowledge dissemination, and protection of Dharma will continue to illuminate our path.

On behalf of the entire Daivi Sampad Mandal and Parmarth Niketan family, we offer our heartfelt homage and reverent salutations. His divine memory will continue to inspire us eternally.

Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji, Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati Ji, and all the Rishikumars observed two minutes of silence and offered their respects for the peace of his soul.

His sacred physical body will be kept for darshan at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh, until 1 PM on 2nd December 2025. All devotees and followers may come for the final darshan and receive blessings.

Carrying forward his teachings, ideals, and extraordinary lineage of wisdom is our true tribute to Pujya Swami Ji.
